About this Talk
What is forgiveness?
When you forgive someone, are you doing it for them, or for you? We’ve learned a lot about forgiveness. Studies indicate it can lower blood pressure, and increase white blood cells. In essence, forgiveness can help your body heal faster.
But what does it actually mean to forgive someone? Especially now, when we’ve never been less willing to forgive. Our current political and cultural climates have made enemies out of neighbors. We are more divided than ever before.
Participants will learn:
- How do we forgive while also maintaining healthy boundaries?
- Is everyone, or anyone, even deserving of our forgiveness in the first place?
- How do we engage in forgiveness as a daily practice?
