Noel Barcelona
Executive Director, The Soul Empowerment Institute - Asia and the Pacific, Inc. Noel Sales Barcelona is a freelance journalist and editor, prized poet and fiction writer, media consultant for non-profits, a development communication specialist, art and cultural critic, intuitive counselor and reader, healer and peace, social and political reform advocate from the Philippines. He's currently the Executive Director of The Soul Empowerment Institute (SEI)-Asia and the Pacific, Inc., a non-profit that advocates spiritual practice as tool for personal and social change.
About this speaker
Noel Sales Barcelona was born in Manila. He discovered his spiritual gifts at the tender age of 14, and has been active in different spiritual circles in the Philippines.
He currently works as an email support agent for a business process outsourcing company in Eastwood, Quezon City, while doing freelance consultancy work as development communication specialist and writer for different organizations, institutions, and even for a lawmaker in the Philippines.
After a few years of unofficial sabbatical leave, he is now back in spiritual work, and finishing his first book, In Between Shadows and Light: A Meditation of a Reluctant Filipino Mystic, a collection of insightful essays of his own spiritual realizations and Aha! moments.
