Danielle Whidby

Danielle Whidby was born and raised in Baltimore she's an alumni of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and Sheppard Pratt University with a BA in psychology. She has worked with various populations of people helping them to improve the quality of life. As a rehabilitation counselor she helped adults diagnosed with various degrees of mental illness learn how to manage their wellness. On July 7th 2016 she was diagnosed what's stage 3 breast cancer, it was during that time her background and mental health help her endure a journey that will forever impact her life. She use coping skills like mindfulness and reframing to cope with cancer. Throughout her journey she remained optimistic she also shared many aspects of her journey to help others see first-hand what happens during treatment.
